How Pending Funds Protect Every Order

Peer-to-peer buying has one structural problem: someone has to go first. Send the money and hope, or send the bottle and hope. Aroma Agora removes the going-first. Here's the timeline of every order on the platform.

1. You Pay — We Hold

Your payment is taken securely at checkout, but it doesn't go to the seller. It sits as pending funds with Aroma Agora. The seller sees the sale is real; you keep the protection.

2. The Seller Dispatches, Tracked

Sellers must dispatch within three working days and add a tracking number — no tracking, no progress. You watch the same tracking we do.

3. You Inspect

Delivery opens a 48-hour inspection window. Check the bottle against the listing: fill level, batch, condition. Happy? Confirm and you're done. A problem? Open a dispute with photos and a human being — not an algorithm — reviews it.

4. Only Then Does Money Move

When the window closes or you confirm early, the seller is paid, minus our commission. That order of events is fixed in the system. Nobody — including us — can release your money to a seller before it.

That's the whole trick. No escrow jargon, no fine print: the money simply waits until the bottle is in your hand and you're satisfied. It protects honest sellers just as much — the fill photo and tracking are their evidence too.
