Is it safe to buy pre-owned perfume?
It is when the bottle is verified and your payment is protected. On Aroma Agora every listing is reviewed before it goes live, shows a photo of the actual bottle and its fill level, and your payment is held until you've received it and had 2 days to check it.
How do I know a pre-owned fragrance is genuine?
Sellers submit the bottle's batch code privately along with photos of the actual bottle, and our team checks them before the listing is published. Batch codes are never shown publicly. If a bottle arrives not as described, open a dispute during the inspection window and a person reviews it.
What does the fill level mean?
How full the bottle is, as a percentage. Sellers state it and photograph the bottle so you can see it for yourself before you buy.
Does perfume go off?
Kept away from heat and light, most fragrances last for years. Sellers describe how a bottle has been stored, and you can message them with questions before you buy.
Can I return a pre-owned fragrance?
If it isn't as described, yes — raise it within 2 days of delivery and the payment stays held while it's resolved. Change-of-mind returns depend on the seller's terms, shown on every listing.
Can I sell my own pre-owned fragrances?
Yes. Listing takes a few minutes: pick the fragrance, photograph the bottle and its fill level, and submit it for verification. You're paid once the buyer confirms.
