1. Who we are

Aroma Agora is a managed marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of fragrances. We are an intermediary: we host listings, hold buyer payments until an order completes, verify authenticity where possible, and mediate disputes. We are not the seller of items listed by other users.

2. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. When you buy, your payment is charged to Aroma Agora and held until your inspection window closes or you confirm receipt. Aroma Agora never holds buyer funds as freely available cash. A commission is calculated and stored at the point of sale and paid by the seller.

3. Selling

Sellers must declare whether they are private individuals or companies. Company sellers are verified manually before activation. Every listing must include a baseline fill photo, and a tracking number is mandatory before an order can be marked dispatched. Sellers are responsible for shipping in line with our shipping guidance.

4. Communication

Buyer and seller communication must take place through Aroma Agora's on-platform messaging. Attempting to move a transaction off-platform undermines buyer protection and is not permitted.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to list counterfeit goods, misrepresent items, or use the platform for unlawful purposes. We may remove listings and suspend accounts that breach these terms.

6. Liability

Our role is to facilitate transactions and administer buyer protection as described. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts held for the relevant order.
